Game rules
The principle
Each round announces 10 letters. You must name an anime whose title (romanized Japanese or English) starts with each letter, within 3 minutes. Enter submits and jumps to the next field.
Points and rarity
The rarer an anime (less popular), the more it scores: from 50 to 300 points. Points stay hidden until the round result, so you never reveal your strategy to your opponent.
Bonus letters
Each round has 10 bonus letters: a condition and its reward (for example "+100 · aired before 2010"). Letters are identical for both players; the bonus is added if your anime meets the condition.
Banning, rush and sudden death
Every validated anime is banned for the rest of the match, for both players. Completing your grid first cuts 30 seconds off your opponent’s clock (rush). On a perfect tie, sudden death decides it: one letter, fastest to validate wins. First to 2 rounds wins the duel.
